The satellite TV market is expanding and changing, so bookmark this page for the latest information for receiver compatibility with KING’s current lineup of satellite TV antennas. Here is the most up-to-date information on our current products:

Tailgater (VQ4500, VQ2500), KING Relay (KD5500, KD5500-B)

The Tailgater and KING Relay work exclusively with DISH satellite TV service. The custom-designed interface allows these systems to work specifically with DISH receivers to deliver fast and reliable TV to your antenna. And the setup is easy! Once you connect the coax cable to the receiver, just follow the simple on-screen instructions and you’ll have all your favorite channels with you wherever you go.

Compatible receivers:
DISH HD solo receivers – models 411, ViP®211, ViP211k, ViP211z, or Wally™

KING Quest (VQ4100)

The KING Quest works exclusively with DIRECTV service. If you want to receive DISH or Bell TV channels with your KING Quest, the UC1000 Controller additional accessory (sold separately) enables the KING Quest to be programmed to work with DISH and Bell TV, as well.

DIRECTV compatible receivers:
DIRECTV H & HR receivers under 25 (Example: H24) are compatible with the KING Quest, as well as D10, D11 and D12 receivers.

Not compatible with SWM-only receivers (such as model H25 and HR25)

DISH compatible receivers (requires separate purchase of the UC1000 controller):
DISH SD – model 311
DISH HD and SD – models 411, ViP211, ViP211k, ViP211z, or Wally

Bell TV compatible receivers (requires separate purchase of the UC1000 controller):
Model – Bell TV 6400

Other receivers may be compatible but have not been tested.

KING Quest (VQ4200) For Bell TV™ (Canada) and DISH® (USA)

The KING Quest (VQ4200) works exclusively with Bell and DISH satellite TV service.

DISH compatible receivers:
DISH Mode – models 311, 411, ViP211, ViP211k, ViP211z, or Wally

Bell TV compatible receivers:
Model – Bell TV 6400

KING Flex (VQ2100), KING Rover (KD1500), KING Dome (KD3000, KD3000-B)

The KING Flex, King Rover, and KING Dome work with DIRECTV, DISH, and Bell TV.

DIRECTV compatible receivers:
Models D10, D11, D12, H20, HR20, H21, HR22, HR23, H24 and HR24

Not compatible with SWM only receivers (such as model H25 and HR25)
