Dish satellite remote not Working
The Dish Network satellite receiver, the television, the DVD player; there are so many remote controls just to watch TV. Your Dish Network remote control can be programmed to control multiple devices with one remote. Using the buttons on your remote control, program the Dish Network remote control to turn your television on and off, as well as control the volume.
Step 1
Find the code for your television in your remote control's manual. The codes are listed alphabetically by brand.
Step 2
Turn on your television and the receiver.
Step 3
Push and hold the "TV" button on the remote control, located at the top of the remote. Hold the "TV" button down until the red light comes on.
Step 4
Release the "TV" button. The red light on your remote begins blinking.
Step 5
Enter the television code with the number buttons on your remote.
Step 6
Press the "OK" button. The red light on your remote blinks three times. For some remotes, there is no "OK" button. Press the "#" button on the number pad instead.
Step 7
Turn off the television with the "TV" button. If it turns off, turn it back on with the "TV" button and test the volume buttons.
Step 8
Find another code for your television brand and repeat code entry process.
Push and hold the "TV" button on the remote control until the red lights pops on.
Release the "TV" button.
Point the remote at the television and repeatedly press the up arrow button on your remote. The red light goes out and comes back on. Continue doing this until the television turns off.
Press the "OK" button or the "#" button on your remote. The red light on your remote blinks three times.
